Cute neighborhood spot. I had the Moussaka and it was delicious. The breakfast roll wasn’t bad—but just very different than American breakfast sandwiches so expectations were different. There were several more menu items we were interested in. Cute place, nice servers. I would go back for more coffee and treats!

I tried the vegetable soup, and it was amazing! It was a deliciously blended mix of carrot and broccoli, full of flavor and warmth. The soup was served with sourdough bread and butter, which were also fantastic. The café has a quaint, chill vibe that's perfect for relaxing, and the waitresses were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Also unlike other restaurants, they don't pressure you to pay for service charge. Overall, a delightful experience that I highly recommend!

I had breakfast at Seven Neighborhood Cafe for two days in a row and was thoroughly impressed. Their San Sebastian cheesecake is a must-try – perfectly creamy with a delightful crust. The full Scottish breakfast was equally amazing, offering a hearty and delicious start to the day. Great food, friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere make this cafe a standout. Highly recommended!

Delightful and cosy cafe. Good selection of menu items catering for all tastes. The vegan breakfast was delicious. Fresh, tasty and satisfying. My partner had sourdough with avocado and eggs which was flavourful and fresh. The coffee was the best yet in Edinburgh. Highly recommend.

I was visiting from NYC and as I was heading out for a day of sightseeing, I wandered by this place, scoped the menu, saw they had haggis and went for it. I'm a very adventurous eater, but had yet to try haggis. The night before I was in a pub and when I told the bartender that I wanted to try it, he asked me how I like it, and apparently I like it exactly they way SEVEN serves it. This is a quaint little spot, very cozy, and if you can grab a window seat, it's a nice busy street, perfect for people watching. I ordered the House Breakfast which was a great substantial meal for one person, and it had haggis. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was delicious. In NYC we have diners on every corner, and on...rougher mornings, sometimes I need some good old corned beef hash to help the recovery efforts of the night before, and this haggis had a very similar flavor to that. A bit spicy. Perfect with the soft fried egg. Not too heavy. It was delicious. Service was great and fast and I highly recommend if you need a quick bite on the way into the city.

Popped in here with my partner for a quick bite to eat and a coffee as we were visiting Edinburgh on our way home from the Highlands. Amazing atmosphere and very quirky and lovely interior. I love exploring independent cafes and this definitely is a favourite. Service was lovely and food was amazing, we had the Mediterranean breakfast and House breakfast, was delicious!
